Ashish, only govt.medical colleges have fees that is affordable but they admit through tests like NEET. Private colleges do offer admissions without tests but then they charge hefty fees, also called caption fees. In such a case the option left with you is to drop a year and prepare for the test for next year. But I will not advise you to do this as there is no surety that next year you surely will crack the test and get some good college. Better for you would be to explore some other options.
With medical background you can also go for B.Tech Biotech/ Food processing etc. If you want to continue in medical line only, then you have options like B.Pharmacy, Ayurveda, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Nursing and Midwifery, Homeopathy, Veterinary, etc.
These days, because of our stressful lifestyle, people are suffering from many physical and mental ailments thus increasing the demand of new medical professional branches like Physiotherapy, Occupational therapy, Speech Therapy etc. Rising popularity of different sports also had led to increased demand of physiotherapists and occupational therapists.
Most of these career choices have a great demand abroad as Indian medical professionals are considered to be one of the best in the world.
Now after the career choice next important thing is the institution. There are many good institutions that have earned a name for themselves in imparting quality education to students. Many good institutions like PGI, Lovely Professional University, Nirma etc have many many patents registered, some of them also are in name of their students.
