Here's the basic list of documents that you must carry with you for admission to courses in Ceramic Engg. at popular Indian colleges:
· PG Mark Sheet with at least 55% marks (For PhD degree)
· UG Mark Sheet with at least 55 to 60% marks (For MTech)
· Class 12 Mark Sheet with a minimum of 50 to 60% marks
· Class 10 Mark Sheet
· A Valid ID Proof like Aadhar Card, Passport, etc.
· Reserved Category Certificate (if applicable)

For studying Ceramic Engineering courses, you need to first meet the eligibility requirements set by the colleges. For UG courses, you must get at least 50 to 60% marks in the PCM subjects. For PG courses, you should have at least 55% marks in your graduation.
Also, you need to give relevant entrance exams for admission and fill out the college application forms before the closing of the registration window. After the exam results are out and you've got your marks, you have to apply for the college counseling process where you'll be given a seat according to your rank and score in the exam.

The duration of Ceramic Engg. courses varies on the basis of the course level at which you're studying the course. For a Diploma in Ceramic Engineering after Class 10, you need to invest 3 years. For UG courses in Ceramic Engineering, the time span is generally 4 years in India. For PG Ceramic Engg. course, the course duration is 2 years. For a PhD in Ceramic Engineering, the time span is between 3 to 6 years.

For 2023, the cut-off was 13254 for General category candidates in the All India quota for BTech in Ceramic Engineering in IIT BHU, Varanasi - Indian Institute of Technology. For female candidates in the general category under the All India quota, 18779 was the closing rank. BTech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

For 2022, cut off was 13109 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Ceramic Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 21128 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For General category under All India, opening rank was 35655 and closing rank was 65106. Cut offs are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BTech +M.Techin Ceramic Engineering at NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam like JEE. Applicants are advised to first confirm the category in which they are applying and then check the cut-offs.

The cutoff trend for the BTech at NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology is seen to be decreasing in recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for BTech under the General category for all India quota was 48630. In 2022, it decreased to 41669. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 59378 to 52928 for OBC, 147690 to 140794 for SC, 208976 to 143477 for ST, 55149 to 54081 for EWS. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for Engineering education in India continues to grow. A similar cut-off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
