Scholarships at Suraasa are offered based on academic performance, past work experience, and other criteria. Candidates must complete the application process to determine eligibility.  

The instructors of PgCTL program at Suraasa are pedagogical experts from various countries, including the USA and UK, who have teaching experience of many decades in international schools. The course delivery involves:

• Live online classes: Every week, it is engaged by the experts, and real-time interaction with the teacher is possible.

• Self-paced pre-recorded videos: These resources are available through the mobile apps and the web portal of Suraasa; hence, there is flexibility to review and study at one's own leisure.

• Readings: To be prepared to support deeper understanding and for further enlightenment on teaching methods.

Government teaching posts vary eligibility criteria in each country since the requirements and regulatory frameworks differ accordingly. Suraasa coaches and advises on the coaching to determine if the PgCTL is within the set of regulatory standards of the candidate's target country. Yes, PgCTL is designed to fit in with the already hectic timetable of teaching practitioners. Learning takes place through live sessions balanced with self-paced modules. There is enough time to carry out their role as classroom teachers and to continue their professional growth by refreshing techniques of teaching that can be applied directly to the classrooms. 

The PgCTL program at Suraasa lasts for about 10 months and is considered to respect working teachers' schedules. Participants will commit about 8 hours per week, split into:

• 4 hours of live classes on-line: These take place at a time set by the participant before the program.

• Online tests and assessments/Assignments: 2 hours

• Self-study: 2 hours utilizing the Suraasa online learning platform, access to learning materials, pre-recorded sessions and reading resources that the learner can access at will. The whole approach would allow the learner to maintain her professional commitments and work through the course.
