It's a good idea to solve at least 3 to 5 sample papers for each subject. The more you practice, the better your understanding of the subject becomes. Start with one paper per week, then increase the number as exams get closer. Also, review your answers and correct your mistakes. This habit helps improve your writing and presentation skills.

Each subject usually has a mix of 20-25% objective questions, 30-40% short answer questions, and 30-40% long answer questions. The number of questions may vary slightly from subject to subject. For example, in Science, there are questions based on experiments and diagrams too. Knowing this division helps students give the right amount of time to each type during preparation. Model papers provide the best idea about this.

Yes, in recent years, CGBSE has made small changes in the CGBSE 10th exam pattern to encourage concept-based learning. The board has included more application-based and competency-based questions in the exam. The board has also increased the objective-type questions in some subjects. Students can check the official CGBSE 10th exam pattern on the official website and this page as well.
