Check the previous years' question papers to find out which chapters are asked more often. Usually, certain chapters in Science and Social Science carry higher marks. Teachers also guide students about high-weightage topics during class. Focus more on these areas during revision to boost your score. But remember, all topics are important, don't skip anything.

CGBSE sometimes removes certain topics to reduce pressure on students. For 2026 exams, so far, the board has not shortened or deleted any topics in any subject. In case the board made any change in the syllabus, we will update the same here. The updated list of deleted topics will be available on the official website or through school notifications. Students should make sure they study only the topics included in the current syllabus. Avoid preparing chapters that are officially removed.

The CG Board 10th syllabus includes core subjects like Mathematics, Science, Social Science, Hindi, and English. These subjects are important as they are compulsory and carry high marks in board exams. Students should also focus on practical subjects like Science and Computer where hands-on learning is essential. Giving equal attention to all subjects ensures better overall performance. However, students can give extra time to subjects they find difficult.
