No, there are no mandatory entrance exams that candidates must clear to qualify for CGC Landran BSc admissions. The selection is one on the basis of merit in Class 12 board exam scores for the BSc course.

Candidates are only required to meet the eligibility requirements for the CGC Landran BSc course.

No, CGC Landran no longer offers the BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course in 2026. The aforementioned BSc specialisation was discontinued by CGC Landran since January 2025. CGC Landran only offers four BSc specialisations for admissions in the academic year 2026.

Currently, the dates for PTU counseling for BTech admissions at CGC Landran has not been revealed by the institute. Generally, the PTU counseling starts in the month of May and is conducted until the month of June.

Candidates need to check the dates of PTU counseling for 2026 after the summer session of JEE Mains 2026 is over.

Currently there are no reports on the CGC Landran BTech lateral entry branches. This is because the first batch of BTech lateral entry students will pass in the year 2027. Thus, the placement report for BTech lateral entry courses at CGC Landran will be released for the batch passing next year.

According to the placement report released by CGC Landran, the Computer Science and Engineering branch had the best placement records in 2025. The students of this BTech branch secured the highest package at INR 44 LPA as well as the highest average package at INR 7.5 LPA. Students of this branch also received the highest number of offers from recruiters.

The BTech fees for lateral entry courses at CGC Landran is INR 5.04 lakh. This fees will be charged from candidates on per annum basis in three instalments. However, candidates can choose to pay this fees in six instalments as well. The yearly fees for the BTech lateral entry courses is INR 1.68 lakh.

The CGC Landran BTech fees in 2026 ranges between INR 5.04 Lacs - INR 6.72 lakh. Candidates are charged this fee amount in either three-four instalments of INR 1.68 Lacs each or six-eight instalments of INR 84,000 each. The fees across all BTech specialisations offered by CGC Landran is the same.

Yes, CGC Landran does offer scholarships. To get the benefits of these schemes, students have to apply for the same. Some of the offered schemes are as below:

  • Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for SC/ST Category Students
  • Post Matric Scholarship Scheme for OBC/BC Category Students
  • Merit Cum Means Scholarship Scheme for Professional & Technical Courses  (Only for AICTE courses)

Yes, CGC Landran admissions are mainly merit-based. Students can apply after completing the last qualifying exam. For UG admissions, Class 12 marks are considered. For PG courses, Bachelor's score is considered. The college however, may accept national-level entrance tests for some courses.
