If I were choosing only between Galgotias University (Greater Noida) and CGC Landran (Mohali) for B.Tech CSE, I would lean slightly toward CGC Landran.Choose CGC Landran if:Your main goal is placements and industry exposure.You want a campus with a relatively better placement record for CSE.You prefer a smaller competitive crowd compared to Galgotias.Recent placement reports show CSE average packages around 7–7.5 LPA with several well-known recruiters visiting the campus.

The highest package offered during BTech CSE placements 2026 was INR 1.14 Crore per Annum. In AI & Data Science, CSE IOT & Cyber Security, CSE Data Science, CSE Cyber Security, Electronics & Computer Engineering and Robotics & AI branch, the highest package offered was 54 LPA.
In IT and ECE, the highest package stood at INR 44.15 LPA. the highest package offered to AI & ML and Mechanical students stood at 41 LPA and 18 LPA.
