The integrated courses have been removed by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and have not received approval form the University Grants Commission (UGC) as well. No student studying or passout from UICET will suggest you to go for CHEM+MBA course. It is not worth at all. Reason is very simple, the 5 years chem+MBA course is not recognised. Every year some students join this course and the only thing they do for next 5 years is regret. Initially there were good placements for this course. But with time placements for chem+MBA course have declined drastically. Well chemical engineering course is far much better than the integrated chemical course in UICET. The integrated chemical course have a lot of loopholes of its own. If you are getting Chemical Engineering then it's good but if you are getting Chemical Engineering + MBA then it's not worth spending 5 years. It has a very little value and some companies may not even consider the MBA. If you are not able to get Chemical Engineering then go for Food Technology instead of the integrated MBA course.

I do not have any information about PU but I can suggest you Chandigarh University which is the best university for pursuing BBA. Chandigarh University is the youngest and the fastest growing University and is giving competition to the foreign universities as well. This University has set many benchmarks.
