It depends on course to course, what you are opting for. If we talk about simple B.E. in Computer Science & Engineering, then The programme has a duration of 4 years with a semester fee of ?1,46,000. Apart from this, students are also required to pay an examination fee of ?2,500 and a security fee of ?2,000. It is also mandatory for students opting for engineering course to give Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET), the test is very simple and easy by giving this exam you can also get a scholarship upto 100%. Cutoff is like a number for entry. Every year it change. For CSE B.Tech at Chandigarh University, general cutoff rank for JEE Main was around 80940 in 2024. Some sites show a projected cutoff toward 63416 in 2025. This number is not fixed and keeps changing depending upon the application. More students apply with higher scores, cutoff goes up. If the application process has lesser in number, it goes down. So students always should not rely on just one figure. Always check the official admission notice before applying.
