The general eligibility criteria for admission to the best college for Chemical Engineering in India are mentioned below:

BTech:

  • Students must have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam scoring a minimum of 50 to 60% marks in Physics,  Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.

Yes, you are eligible in jadavpur university and you can apply for WBJEE to pursue BE in Chemical Engineer from Jadavpur University. Student from any state in India can apply for WBJEE. You just need a domicile certificate which claims reservations for government institutions. There is also an eligibility criteria where you have to pass class 12 with physics, chemistry and mathematics as these are the compulsory subjects.

Candidates need to have at least 50 percent aggregate marks in Class 12 from a recognised board. Student must have studied Physics,  Chemistry and Biology as core subjects to be eligible to appear JEE Main.
