Your score is very good & your rank will also be very good. There is high chance to get NIT Trichy in chemical engineering. Good luck.

It is already available on google. You can refer college syllabus. It's designed very carefully, so that you can clear many competitive exams also.

Hi, Its just okay. But in my opinion, it does not live upto the brand value which the BITS has. Though the curriculum is good but the faculty members are not apt. But irrespective of the branch, the academic curriculum and the overall system of BITS gives you enough freedom to do whatever you want. So, don't just focus on the branch.

If you consider the placement percentage for the year 2018, about 56.82% students of chemical engineering got placed. The highest package was 7.95 LPA. It's good as compared to chemical engineering at Tier-3 colleges but not as good as CS/EC branches.

Engineering will be helpful than M.Sc. You will find a lot of opportunities and practical experience in B.Tech rather than M.Sc but B.Tech is not a good option, you should go for M.Sc first then direct M.Tech in chemical engineering as M.Tech requires Master's degree or 4-year engineering programme. All the best.

Mining in NIT RKL is good. You can even opt for chemical or mining. I would rather suggest mining seeing it's opportunities. With 97.62, you stand a chance of getting into one.
