ICFAI University Raipur has made various rules for students studying in the hostels. These rules make the student life residing in hostels easy and safe. The life in the hostels of ICFAI is good. The university places great importance on the neatness and cleanliness of the hostels. ICFAI University, Raipur admissions are primarily merit-based. Candidates must also fulfill the minimum eligibility requirements for the respective courses. The basic eligibility for UG courses is Class 12 whereas graduation is required for PG programmes. Further, candidates seeking admission to the BTech programme at ICFAI Raipur must be Class 12 passed or equivalent with at least 45% aggregate with a pass in each of the Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and English.

The university is recognised by UGC and has been accredited by NCTE for BEd programmes. Maharishi University of Management and Technology (MUMT), (C.G) is the First Private University in Bilaspur City and MUMT has good infrastructure, Hostel Facility, Wi-Fi Campus, well-equipped laboratory, and Eco-friendly campus with playgrounds. It is a good college to consider.

ICFAI University Raipur admissions are merit-based for most of the courses. Aspirants are selected based on their score and qualifying exam and performance in the personal interview round. Besides, the selection to BA LLB (Hons) programme is based on CLAT or LSAT score. For B.Ed, admission is based on CG pre-B.Ed entrance exam conducted by Chattisgarh. Selected candidates are further called for a personal interview round for final selection.
