Regarding placement in B.Tech at the mentioned university, the input from different sources I received is not hopeful. You may check their alumni site if available.

Candidates will be intimated about the selection status (Selected / Wait Listed / Not Selected) through the application status link on the university website. The selection results will be declared as mentioned in the important dates link.

The entrance exam comprises of 5 sections. There are total 120 questions to be solved in 2 hours.
1) English Language, Comprehension Skills, Verbal Reasoning - 30 Questions, 30 Marks
2) General Knowledge, Current Affairs - 25 Questions, 25 Marks
3) Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Fundamental Mathematical Operations - 25 Questions, 25 Marks
4) Critical, Analytical and Logical Reasoning - 20 Questions, 20 Marks
5) Data Analysis and Data Interpretation - 20 Questions, 20 Marks.

Yes, there are some colleges, which take entrance test, but only after your board results are out. They take applications based on your marks and their cutt off. Also there Are some colleges which don't take any test and simply take admission on merit basis.

Christ is the most prestigious Institute for BCA in india!
It conducts an entrance exam for admission to BCA every year!
There is no direct admission provided by the college!
