It depends on your interest and effort you put into a field. Maybe mechanics is little harder for some because you may not 'be good' at all the disciplines (programming is totally different than, say, Material Science), but you're not learning everything to an advanced level, so it's not that bad. Other courses are also pretty widespread, they just focus on things related to the main theme (f. e. Mechanical Engineering courses involve technology, welding, material Science, bearings knowledge and so on), whereas mechatronics have more distinct disciplines (brief survey of the mentioned ones, electronics, a bit of programming, etc).

There is a relaxation for SC candidates in the fees. You don't have to pay tuition fees which constitute the major part of the fees.
For more, you refer the institute website-

LEET stands for Lateral Entry Entrance Test. The syllabus of LEET exam varies from state technical university to other. You need to visit the official website of your state technical exam conducting authority for syllabus. You have not mentioned your state. Diploma candidates need to have at least 60% marks to apply for LEET exam of your state. This exam gives you opportunity to get direct admission in second year of engineering.

If you want to be a diploma junior engineer then you are eligible after 10th for it.
But if you want to do engineering, then you must have completed your secondary education, that is, your 10+2.

It's difficult to say about that. But if I were at your place I will go for BIET Jhansi because REC Banda is not good college. REC is preparing himself to get better from last year.

Sorry Deepika, you don't have any chance of getting IET Lucknow. Try for other colleges like KNIT Sultanpur, BIET Jhansi, IERT Allahabad, JSS Noida, AKGEC or ABESEC.
One thing I want to suggest is- you should go for every round of counselling to get good colleges.

For civil engineering, you may consider ABES, AKG, KIET,GL Bajaj and JSS. In first & second rounds of counselling, it is possible that you may not get these colleges but in third counselling, you will definitely get civil engineering in any of these colleges.
