You can only give IAS exam, once you have done your graduation. For that, you have to qualify your class 12th exam too. So, first you have to clear your supplementary exam, then only you can go for IAS after your graduation. All the best.

Around 2.50 Lacs candidates appears in PCS examination every year. The candidates mostly belong to UP and Bihar while aspirants from Madhya Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Jharkhand are gradually increasing. Regards.

Hi Priti,
Yes, you can. The UPSC eligibility criteria want you to be a graduate in any stream. But, do give it a thought why you want to pursue fashion and then become an IAS. It gets quite contradictory.

You will have some combinations like PCM in Science. They are:
History, Political Science, Geology, Geography, Economics, etc.

BA is better. You will have a choice to choose optional subjects. It is better you choose History, Political Science, Geography, etc., subjects. Even you can do B.Sc, but BA is better. You will be having much time to prepare for IAS if you choose BA.
