Great to know that you are aiming for the civil service exams in your 2nd year degree itself. Start preparation from now itself so that you can attempt exam immediately after completion of your degree.
The best material to prepare for UPSC exam is The Hindu newspaper. Also, study NCERT text books from 7th to 12th.
After this, you can study higher level topics
