It's great connecting with you. The degree you have is of no consequence to your chances at IAS. Although the number of Science graduates including B Tech, MBBS, et al who clear the IAS has been rising with each year, it is mostly because they are better in analytical skills and dedicate more hours to studies. 1. You can ask some of your seniors about the difficulty level of either subject.
2. Second of all, you have to keep in mind that history is purely a theory subject and geography a theory+ practical subject.
3. You can take mock tests of either subject after studying. Hope you will get your answer.
