I suggest you to go for class 11th with science. It will be much more beneficial for you, as it will open scopes for you, and if you want to go for engineering ,then taking class 11th route will take less time.

One of the exam you can give after class 12th for it is NCHMCT JEE.
It's registration starts in April starting and end within 15 days.

It all depends on your field of interest, and where you want to see yourself after class 12th. With this CGPA, you can get any stream.
If you are interested in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Maths or Biology, then you can go for science stream.
If you are interested in subjects like accountancy, economics, business studies etc., you can go for commerce.
If you are interested in subjects like political science, history, economics, fine arts, home science etc. You can go for arts steam.

Polytechnic or Diploma courses are for those students who are not able to afford high fees of regular technical colleges or due to some reason unable to take admission but don't want to waste their time.
You can take admission in polytechnic after class 10th or class 12th. After class 10th, it will be of three years and after 12h it will be of two years.

These are the eligibility criteria for NATA:
Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates passed/appearing in 10+2 or equivalent exam from a recognized board with Mathematics as one of the subjects (with 50% marks) are eligible to appear in NATA 2017.
2. The candidates passed/appearing in 10+3 Diploma with 50% marks (Mathematics as one of the subjects) recognized by any State/Central government can also apply.
3. Candidates with International Baccalaureate Diploma, passed/appearing, after 10 years of schooling with 50% aggregate marks (Mathematics as one of the compulsory subject) can also apply.
4. NATA score will be applicable for two years only

The subjects offered for arts or humanities field are: Compulsory subjects: History, Geography, Political Science, and English. Optional Subjects: Economics, Psychology, Sociology, dance, music, Fine arts, multimedia, fashion designing, legal studies, graphic designing, physical education ,Philosophy etc.

First of all, I must say please take science only when you have even a little vision about what are you going to do after taking science in future.
