V? = 36 km/hr = 10 m/s
V? = -72 km/hr = -20 m/s
V? = -1.8 km/hr = -0.5 m/s

V? = V? + V?

= V? + V? - V?
= -0.5 + 10 – (-20)
= -0.5 + 30 = 29.5 m/s
