You need 65% in 12th with either maths/accounts and English. If you are very sure of going for this course, you may start right after 12th. I would suggest you to go through the complete course structure before making any decision as that will give you more clarity about it.

Educational Qualification:
To be eligible to become an Engine Driver in India one should be at least Matriculate plus ITI course in specified trades
Age:
Minimum age of the aspiring candidate should be 18 years and maximum age limit is 30 years.
How to apply:
The 17 RRBs of different zones in the Indian Railways hold competitive exams for the job.To become an Engine Driver one should apply for them.
It consists of nearly 150 questions on G.K, Aptitude, Mathematics and General English.
After clearing the RRB exam and getting the necessary training one usually begins his career as a diesel or electric loco assistant

If you mean commercial pilot then please remember in order to become a commercial pilot you must have completed your Class XII under the 10+2 system or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics and Physics.
Training in commercial flying can be taken with Flying clubs, the Rashtriya Udan Academy, Private Flying academies.
The training goes through 3 stages of licence.
The licences have to be procured in the following order:
1. Student Pilot Licence (SPL)
2. Private Pilot Licence (PPL)
3. Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL)
