VIT Law School is commonly known as VITSOL and this institute was brought into existence in legal studies by the year 2014. Law school aims to impart a high standard of education in the legal studies field and to nourish the mind of young minds with legal knowledge. This Law school is approved by the Bar Council of India and affiliated with the Vellore Institute of Technology. The VIT Law school offers two undergraduate degree courses which are B.A-LLB (Hons) and BBA-LLB (Hons). This college also offers a Master of Law (LLM) in three specializations which include Corporate Laws, International Law and Development, and Intellectual property Laws. Additionally, this Law school also offers a doctoral program in law studies. The department is run by 30 faculty members most of them hold doctoral degrees. VIT Law school admission to 5 years integrated programme BA-LLB (Hons) will be based on the on basis two criteria which are eligibility and scores of entrance exam. The one seeking VIT admission in BA-LLB (Hons) must have cleared the Higher Senior Secondary/10+2 level examination. The admission process for the BBA-LLB course offered will be the same as well. The entrance exam is to be qualified by CLAT and ISAT. It is very much mandatory to have secured a valid score in any of these entrance exams to get VIT Law school admissions. The basic eligibility for taking admission into LLM (Masters degree), he/she must have completed their Bachelors in LLB and should have also appeared for the entrance exam. CLAT is a National level admission test organised by 21 NLUs on the basis of rotation. It is held for admission to Law Courses at 21 NLUs as well as numerous private universities and colleges.
