After the completion of the course, you can go in any area that you want to make a career in. Be it Corporate, Litigation, Judicial exams or anything. Whatever you choose to do, you can decide and then streamline your internships in that area over a period of 5 years. Further, in US what you study is their law in order to get into litigation you need to clear the very tough state bar exams which are conducted by each state.
