For the CLAT 2026 exam, there have been some important updates regarding the eligibility criteria:
- Age Limit: There is no upper age limit for candidates appearing for the undergraduate programme through CLAT 2026.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination. The minimum marks required are:
45% for general candidates,
40% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD categories
Candidates who are appearing for their qualifying examination in March/April 2026 are also eligible to apply, but they must provide proof of passing the examination at the time of admission.

TNNLU cutoff 2024 is out for CLAT Round 3. Earlier for the academic year 2023-24, TNNLU CLAT cutoff 2023 was concluded after Round 4 of the Seat Allotment Result for most of the NLUs. Candidates can check the TNNLU BA LLB (Hons) cutoff 2024 along with other courses for the latest round in the table given below for the General category candidates belonging to All india Quota:

No, you can't get addmission to the Gujrat Maritime University without taking the CLAT ENTRANCE exam for LLM. CLAT is required to be cleared with a minimum of 75% to get enrolled in the university.

Candidates who want to apply to the NLSIU for BA LLB (Hons) programe must take the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT). However, for admissions into its three-year LLB course, Master’s Programme in Public Policy, PhD (Law), and PhD (Interdisciplinary) programmes candidates have to appear for NLSAT 2025. Hence, joining NLSIU Bangalore without CLAT is impossible. Therefore students are adviced to began preparing for the exam as the CLAT 2025 Exam Dates have been announced. CLAT 2025 Exam will be conducted on December 1, 2024.
