Moreover, this Delhi-based university offers both BA LLB and BBA LLB law courses that GGSIPU offers. GGSIPU used to get students on the basis of their CLAT score while this year it has announced that it will accept students through both CLAT and CUET scores for their law courses.
Year after year, the cutoff ranks for the SC category in GGSIPUs legal programs tend to vary owing to the number of applicants, seat availability, and difficulty of the exam. For example, cutoff ranks for SC were approximately 3000 and above over the past years at the top National Law Universities (NLUs) which translates into CLAT scores of 80+ marks.

With a CLAT score of 8314 AIR and an OBC rank of 1188, one can consider going for any of the Delhi government law colleges located in Delhi, which accept CLAT scores, including Campus Law Centre, Faculty of Law, and Law Centre II - those are all part of the University of Delhi.
All these factors may suggest that you stand little chance of getting into top NLUs because of your rank, but they usually have much relaxed cutoffs and, hence may allow you some leeway in the possibility of seeking admission under your category rank.

A private law college which accepts CLAT scores in a rank range of 21,000; options include:
- Alliance University (Bangalore),
- Sharda University (Greater Noida),
- UPES (Dehradun), and
- GD Goenka University (Gurgaon).
Most of these colleges have cutoffs that are not as rigid as the top National Law Universities but are really good at offering quality legal education. For each college, it is important to make confirmations about the cutoffs each year because it varies from year to year depending on various factors such as seat availability and total number of applicants.

This will be a daunting task getting admission into one of the Kolkata national law schools with an all India rank of 40811 in CLAT 2025 and SC rank of 2800.
But then to balance it with UPES in Dehradun or Sharda or even with Symbiosis Law School Pune-all accepting CLAT scores but are slightly relaxed concerning their cutoff ranges for your rank.
Some other names include Christ University, Bangalore, which accepts students based on their CLAT scores.
And some time number of seats for specific category depends tooo.

Results were searched for CLAT cutoff specifically for B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) by DU. These don't detail the cutoff that year specifically, but it is given here that the admissions to all programmes of DU BA/BBA LLB will be decided on the basis of 2024 CLAT Scores.
Factors that affect the cutoff are the number of applicants, the difficulty level of the exam, and the number of seats available. Since the CLAT 2024 exam was considered easier, the cutoff is expected to be higher than in previous years.
Precise cutoff scores could be obtained from the official DU website or other trusted educational portals after the results are declared.
