TS ECET exam is conducted for Diploma & B.Sc (Mathematics) holders who are seeking lateral central admission into various B.E/B.Tech courses. Eligibility Criteria for admission to the course is-
Candidates should have completed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology or any other equivalent degree or candidates should have passed 3-year B.Sc. Degree examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects in the group combination from a recognized University in the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh state. Candidates should have qualified for the exam with at least 45 percent marks and the qualifying marks for reserved categories is 40 percent.

It's not about marks. It's about the rank which you get. CET is a common exam for various courses offered by pau and in one go they do counseling for all the streams. Based on your rank and other credentials (sports person, belonging to reserved class) they will offer you a seat and then you have to SEE whether you are getting seat in your desired course or not. Study hard and Prepare well. All the best!

Yes, you have chance of getting SIMSREE. Keep both MS and PGDBM in the option form, there is no difference between these two courses. All the best for future endeavors.
