Many colleges in the state of Maharashtra as well as in other states keep some seeds reserved for candidates who are NRI for children of NRI. Unfortunately there is no centralised admission process. Students need to visit the website of their interested college download the required application form fill it up and send it across at the address mention. No normally speaking neither JEE Mains or MHT CET is required to be cleared by students under this category but they need to score minimum required marks in there 12th or equivalent to class 12th examination with physics chemistry and mathematics as the subjects. Best wishes to you.

Hello Rama Labhe, COEP is the premier institute in Maharashtra and as a consequence cutoffs are invariably high. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information about the cutoff in all the branches.

Hello Pratik, it is perhaps a bit difficult to get cutoffs for the branch in the college that you have it just mention. But there is another way to find out whether you will get admission there or not based on your performance in MHT CET. I am giving you a link that can predict the branch and the college that you can get based on your performance in this examination. What I suggest is this. You keep on entering different values of the score of MHT CET and find out as S
to at what score you can get admission in your desired branch in college. https://www.shiksha.com/engineering/mht-cet-college-predictor

Hello Sharad, I must say that your percentile in JEE mains is reasonably good. But I am afraid the admissions in college of engineering Pune are normally based on the ranking of mht CET and not JEE Mains. Of course there are some seats reserved for what is called as all India quota which are filled up based on the parameters of the students in JEE Mains but the seats are very less in number. I can only say that do not lose hope till the time admission process is not over since this process is known to throw many surprises.
Best wishes to you.

Both the colleges that you have mention have a very good reputation academically and also in the placements scenario across Maharashtra. LIT in Nagpur is of course famous for its courses in areas related to chemical engineering while c o e p offers all types of courses. To compare chemical engineering with metallurgical engineering is actually not correct. These are two different types of courses with perhaps different employers at the time of placements. My opinion is that both these branches have tremendous potential in the times to come. In view of this I would recommend that you can select any one of the courses in which you can ge
