Admission to University B.D.T. College of Engineering affiliated with VTU is generally done in June-July for Undergraduate (B.E. / B.Tech) and Postgraduate courses. The main mode of admissions is through the scores obtained by the candidates through KCET, COMEDK UGET, or JEE Main. In some cases, the college may also take up in-house counseling for particular courses. Online registration, submission of documents, and payment of fee form the typical registration process. The quality of food in the hostel mess at University B.D.T. College of Engineering, Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) is satisfactorily good to most students. Mess provides wide varieties of vegetarian and non-vegetarian items that cater to the taste buds and dietary requirements of different types of people. Normally, the food provided is nutritious with a balanced meal. Quality and taste, as usual in most of the hostel messes, are not of the same quality every time. However, college management maintains standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the mess. Some students occasionally complained about variety but, generally, the food serves the basic expectation.

The package for students from University B.D.T. College of Engineering affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University has been fluctuating every year according to industry demand and performance of the student. The highest package over the last few years has ranged from ?8 Lacs to ?12 Lacs per annum by leading sectors like the IT sector, software companies, and many other core engineering companies. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and IBM, among others, and even startups and multinationals participate in campus placements. However, the package varies from branch to branch and upon performance in interviews and recruitment drives.

Admission for 2024 to Sindhudurg Shikshan Prasarak Mandal's College of Engineering (SSPMCOE) is closed. However, you can apply for admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlan courses through JEE Main 2025 Session 1. The last date to apply is November 22, 2024, and the exam is scheduled to be held from January 22 to January 31, 2025. 

SSPMCOE is affiliated with Mumbai University and is approved by AICTE, New Delhi, and DTE Mumbai. It offers full-time degree courses, including B.Tech specializations in Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. 

To get admission to SSPMCOE, you need to perform well in the MHT CET entrance exams and participate in counseling rounds. You can also apply for direct entry to the second year of the BE course, but you need to have a valid MHT CET score.
