Aligarh Muslim University (popularly known as AMU) was established in 1920 as a public university in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. Aligarh Muslim University (popularly known as AMU) was ranked 11 and 19 under the ‘University’ and ‘Overall’ categories, respectively, by the NIRF 2022 Rankings. AMU is a member of AIU (Association of Indian Universities), and its courses are approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is accredited by the NAAC with “A” Grade. Being a public university, fee for various courses is not very high.

The average package offered in recent placements was INR 12 LPA. Further, 100% of internships were made over the past few years. Students were placed in top-notch Medical companies and hospitals during the JNMC Aligarh placements

Faculty of Law AMU offers 240 seats in the BA LLB program. 120 of these seats are available in AMU Aligarh, and the remaining seats are available in the AMU centers at Malappuram and Murshidabad. If you wish to join the Faculty of Law at Aligarh Muslim University as a student, you neeed to fulfill certain eligibility criterions, which are as follows:-
- You must have cleared the Senior Secondary Examination (12th) with aggregate 50& marks from any recognised board like CBSE, UP Board etc./ any university.

The Faculty of Law, AMU is located in Uttar Pradesh India. It offers courses like BA LLB (Bachelor's in Arts with Bachelors in Law) and LLM Programme (Master of Laws). If we assess the costs to be incured for studying this courses; it is found that the total fees for the 5-year BALLB Programme at AMU is INR 1,01,6,720 and for the 2-year LLM Programme is INR 4.1 lakhs, The fees amount only includes the course fees and not the fess need to be paid at the time of admission neither the hostel fees. The Faculty of Law, AMU (Aligarh Muslim University) is well-known for the on-campus placements it provides to the law graduates. Under the faculty of Law, it comprises of courses such as BA LLB, LLM etc. As per the department's reports, 93% students of the law faculty get placed with good pacakages. The avarage packages that were offered to BA LLB and LLM students in recent years were INR 12.3 LPA and INR 10.32 LPA respectively. If we analyse these trends, it could be observed that the average packages that are offered, ranges between 9LPA-10 LPA. Around 30-40% students of the law batch gets placed every year. The 2022 placement drive concluded with 83% of BA LLB and 26% of LLM students placed. Earlier, 82% of BA LLB and 20% of LLM students were placed during 2021 placements. Over the past three years (2020 to 2022), the placement rate for BA LLB and LLM indicates an improving trend.
