Hi,
Yes, JNTUK is a good University. Almost all of the private colleges in 8 districts of Coastal Andhra Pradesh are affiliated to JNTUK.
People consider JNTUK is the best college after JNTUH and the best compared to JNTUA.
Note: Here we are not discussing about AU, OU and SVU.
When it comes to newly formed Andhra Pradesh, you can consider JNTUK as the second best college in the entire state, AU being the top best college in the state.
Coming to the class environment, you will see bright students around and can definitely learn something from them.

There is no course in India such as investigative journalism. You can pursue a degree course in journalism or mass communication, which is generally a 3-year course. After completing the course successfully, you can apply for an internship in a news organisation and work with the crime and politics beat to understand the industry and have an experience of what it is all about. After that, you can apply for jobs in the same beat in news organisations.

You should have very few chances of getting CSE. Dual degree means 4 years B.Tech+2 years M.Tech. One can avail an exit option after 4 years in that case one can give a B.Tech degree otherwise one can continue to do M.Tech.
