National Institute of Technology Silchar application process begins with an online application. Interested students must fill out the online application for the respective courses on the official website of NIT Silchar. Follow the steps given below to apply to NIT Silchar:

Step 1: Admissions to the first semester of all UG programmes are made based on the seats allocated by the JoSAA from the list of candidates selected by all India JEE (Main). Hence, apply for the entrance exam first.

Step 2: Then appear for the entrance exam.

Step 3: Take part in the counselling round.

Step 4: Pay the admission fee at the allotted college.

In order to be eligible for UG admission at NIT Silchar, candidates must have secured the specified minimum aggregate of 75% in Class 12 and acquire valid scores in the entrance exam.
