According to the placement statistics released in the NIRF 2025 report, a total of 40 students from 159 eligible students across UG and PG batches were placed in different sectors and companies. As such the placement rate stood at 25% during the Golaghat College Assam 2024 placements. Also, 41 students were selected for higher students.

According to the report during the 2024 Golaghat College Assam placed a total of 40 students from 159 eligible students while 41 students were selected for higher studies. Also, the median package stood at INR 1.6 LPA and INR 5 LPA for UG and PG graduates, respectively.

Their is only a minor difference in the tuition fee for the courses offered by NIT Kurukshetra and NIT Silchar. Both institutes offer the same scholarships as each other.
NIT Silchar offers more specialisations of M.Tech the NIT Kurukshetra hence the M.Tech feescan differ. However, among the common specialisations of M.Tech between the aforementioned institutes, the difference isalmost negligable. Candidates can look at the table below formore information:
