Yes, students can transfer to Conestoga. However, students cannot transfer 100% of the credits in they earned in their current course. Only 75% of the credits can be transferred. It is mandatory to pursue 25% of the credits as part of the college.

UBC acceptance rate is around 52%. This acceptance rate of UBC suggests that this university is competitive and Indian students should have a good academic record at the time of admission. Indian students who want to take admission to UG courses should have passed Class 12. Also, for admission to PG courses of UBC Canada, a Bachelor's degree is required. Course-specific requirements may also be applicable.

For merit-based scholarships of UBC Canada, students are considered automatically. Academic achievement and extra-curricular achievement are also considered while granting scholarships. 

  • International Major Entrance Scholarships are awarded to UG international students. The scholarship amount is CAD 10,000 - CAD 25,000 per year
  • The Outstanding International Student Award is offered to UBC students when they are granted admission. This award's amount is CAD 10,000 - CAD 25,000 per year

The minimum requirements to get into Douglas College are given below:  

Undergraduate  

  • The applicants must have completed high school education or 19 years of age by the first month of studies in the semester of entry to Douglas College Canada 

  • Have minimum 60% overall 

  • Have 60% in Class 11 Mathematics or equivalent for most of the courses 

Post Degree and Post Baccalaureate  

  • The applicants must have done Graduation (3 year Bachelor's degree) 

  • Also, the applicants should have obtained an average of 60% during the Bachelor's degree

After graduating from Douglas College, students may apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit or PGWP. The duration and eligibility of PGWP depend on the length of the programme and enrollment status throughout the program. Students have 180 days to apply for their post-graduation work permit.
