Vocational courses focus more on practical knowledge whereas degree courses help students gain in depth understanding of the subject. The duration of vocational courses is comparatively less and hence lesser the cost. While vocational courses target specific career option, a degree course can open GATE to many different career options. It totally depends on students' choice whether they want skill enhancement or an indepth theoretical knowledge.
