Co-op students at UFV work as employees and are paid at regular market rates. This allows students to alternate academic studies with paid work terms in a career-related field. Past co-op placements include at companies like IBM, Boeing Canada, Deloitte, Canada Revenue Agency, and Prospera Credit Union. There are 16 programs at the university with co-op education option.

The Fraser Valley University acceptance rate is calcualted nearly 62%- 75% as per the unofficial source which means getting admission at UFV is moderately competitive as the university is fairly selective and out of 100 applicants, approximately 62 to 75 students secure their place at the university.

it is suggested to the students to that they should attain higher scores than the recommended marks by the university and must have all the required documents while filling out the application form to be considered for the selection
