SRHU Dehradun allows eligible candidates to take direct admission to the second year of the BTech (CSE) programme through lateral entry. Such candidates must meet the any one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Three-year Diploma in Engineering/Technology after Class 10, with a minimum aggregate of 55%, OR
- Two-year Diploma in Engineering/Technology after Class 12, with a minimum aggregate of 55%, OR
- A BSc with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry/Computer Science as compulsory courses, with a minimum aggregate of 55%

The BTech fee at SRHU is different for the All India Category (AIC) and the Permanent Resident of Uttarakhand (PRU) category. The following table presents the category-wise SRHU BTech and BTech (Hons) fees:

Yes, SRHU Dehradun offers a full time BTech programme. The programme is offered in the stream of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE). In addition to the BTech in CSE, the university offers BTech (Hons) in CSE in three specialisations. These specialisations are Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Cyber Security, and Data Science & Machine Learning.The duration of the regular programme is four years. The university also allows lateral entry to the third semester of all the BTech specialisations. The duration of lateral entry programmes is three years.

To withdrawal the application from the hostel, candidates are required to submit their request to the administration department. If the student withdraws before the notified date of commencement of classes/reporting for hostel, only Rs. 1,000/- will be deducted as processing charges and balance shall be refunded. If the student has availed hostel facility even for one day in a calendar month, then Mess & Laundry fee for that calendar month shall be deducted.

In DIT University, Registration fee of INR 1,250 and Admission Fee of INR 10,000 fees once paid will not be refunded once the payment is done. All withdrawal applications will be processed by the Registrar Office of DIT University on recommendations of the Head, Admissions. Further, In case, the student reports to attend the Programme and subsequently applies for withdrawal, an additional amount of Rs 10,000/- on account of Joining Kit will be deducted over and above from the refundable amount as mentioned in the table provided above. Given below are Percentage of Refund of Academic Fee, along with criteria:

The university law school has a total seat intake of 30 for the LLB programme. UPES School of Law allot seats to the candidates on the basis of their performance in CUET exam and may consider academic performance as well.
