Unfortunately, the latest cutoff information for B.Tech. programs at School of Petroleum Technology (SPt), Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University (PDPU) is not yet available. The cutoffs are typically released after each JEE Main round. The 2024 B.Tech. admissions process is still in progress, with the first round of seat allocation expected in June 2024.

B.Tech placements at School of Petroleum Technology (SPT), Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University are strong, with consistently high placement rates and attractive salary packages. The average placement rate over the past few years is 90% and 100% placement for B.Tech. Petroleum Engineering in 2023. Top recruiters are ONGC, Shell, Reliance Industries, Halliburton, L&T, Adani Group, Torrent Gas, etc.

For B.Tech. programmes, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) provides a number of scholarships, one of which is the Merit Scholarship, which waives all tuition costs for students beginning with their first semester. Students will receive a full tuition waiver if they are admitted based on the following ACPC and JEE Main rank banks for different courses. Students pursuing a BTech can also apply for specific merit scholarships from the institution. Either ACPC or All-India seats are used to admit students. School of Petroleum Technology at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University accepts only Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main scores for admission to its B.Tech programs. There is no alternative entrance exam accepted. For the B.Sc. (Hons.) program, students must have passed the 12th standard examination from any recognized board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. Additionally, students with less than 70% score in the respective board examination at the time of admission will not be eligible for admission.
