Through initiatives like IRE Talks, AI Feast, and similar student-led industry initiatives sponsored by GIBS, students who may be shy and reserved start their journey toward becoming successful leaders through the development of confidence through an incremental, structured, and realistic exposure to the business world, creating their confidence and skills as individuals.

Students consistently describe GIBS faculty as being involved and supportive of students through events, during sessions on-orientation and mentoring on campus. At orientation programs, professors have been described as approachable guides, helping new students better understand the program's curriculum, expectations, and learning culture, easing their transition into management studies and building their confidence towards the program. At events and interactive sessions, faculty have often acted as moderators/mentors/judges, sharing real-world experiences and encouraging active student participation in the learning process.
