Indian Institute of Art and Design conducts iMAT or IIAD Management Aptitude Test for admission to BBA and MBA programmes. Candidates need to pass iDAT for admission to BDes & MDes courses. Hence, aspirants cannot get admission without passing the entrance test.

The annual fees for MBA at Indian Institute of Art and Design is INR 5.80 lakh. Candidates also need to pay one-time admission fees of INR 50,000 and security deposit & alumni fund of INR 30,000. Aspirants need to pay fees to confirm their seat in the institute.

The classrooms are super neat and the vibe is very focused—like you automatically tune out distractions. And then during breaks, the common spots and lawns literally reset your brain. It's the perfect mix: study–breathe–chill–repeat. Honestly it makes learning feel more natural and less forced.

Attendance is pretty important for design students at IILM, especially during studio-heavy semesters. You'll need to maintain at least 75% attendance to be eligible for exams and assessments. Missing classes can impact your understanding of concepts and overall performance, so regular attendance is encouraged. That said, the faculty understands genuine reasons and might consider valid excuses.

The design program's hands-on nature means studio sessions are crucial, and missing them can affect your project work and critiques.
