JMI B.Tech admission 2020 will be done on the basis of JEE Main scores. Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their scores and called for counselling of JMI B.Tech admission 2020.
Educational eligibility : Candidates should have secured minimum aggregate marks of 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics of 10+2th (or equivalent) qualifying exam.
Availability of application forms : The application form of JMI B.Tech 2020 will be available tentatively from the last week of February in online mode. Candidates will be required to submit the application form before the final date to participate in the admission process.
So Jamia will not conduct any entrance exam for B.Tech admission, The admission will be done on the basis of ranks secured in JEE-Main.

Generally, FMS cut off is around 97+ percentile in CAT. The candidates on the basis of FMS Cut Off have to appear for a Group Discussion and Personal Interview before final selection. At the time of interview, candidate's academics, work experience, personality and overall suitability are the another factors considered in selection. All these parameters carry due weightage, apart from the performance in the CAT, which is used to decide the FMS cutoff score. So it is very important to remember that clearing the FMS Cut Off is not sufficient as there is a final hurdle to be crossed before admission.
