Hi,
Candidates with at least fifty (50) percent marks either in the Bachelor's degree and/or in the Master's degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme.
The following categories are eligible to be the students of B.Ed (ODL):
(i) Trained in-service teachers in elementary education (or);
(ii) Candidates who have completed an NCTE recognized teacher education programme through face-to-face mode.
Admission shall be done on the basis of the score obtained in the entrance test conducted by IGNOU all over India. The candidate will be required to submit the filled-in application form with attested copy of documents as specified in Entrance-cum-Admission Form.

In case, you don't get your desired college, don't settle for something mediocre. Instead of settling down for some mediocre college, it would be better if you try for some good private university. Many reputed private universities are offering B.Tech. They have different criteria for admissions. Some offer admission on the basis of JEE scores, some offer admission on basis of their own tests and some offer admission on the basis of both. Some even offer direct admission on basis of class 12th marks. Some of the universities also offer scholarships on basis of your performance in class 12th or JEE or their own tests. You can check the details of any of the reputed universities like VIT, Lovely, SRM, etc. All these universities have wonderful infrastructure and world-class facilities to offer to students apart from good placements.
