Speaking of the B.Tech exam in IPU CET, it has a slightly lower level than that of JEE Mains exam. So, if you missed JEE Mains by a small margin, you have a chance of clearing IPU CET.

Hello Avinash,
As per the last year trends, the cut-off goes up to 4600 rank in JEE Mains for information technology branch. The highest package can go up to 1 crores for IT branch.

As you know there are fewer seats available for lateral entry programme, the competition is very tough. So you need crack leet exam with very high score. DTU gives admission on the basis of merit list evaluated on basis of your LEET score.

DTU conducts LEET exam every year to intake students in its B.Tech through lateral entry programme. Only valid Diploma holders can appear to give this exam. The forms will rollout in the month of June-July. So, keep checking the DTU website for more information.
