To get NITs you need to secure above 200 in JEE Mains. I am a student of SC category and I have got 75 marks in JEE Mains but still I couldn't get NIT, Durgapur.

Kindly google the services like study environment, faculty, placements and so on, that they both provide. Whichever is good by your perspective or suits you, go ahead with that.

Chances to get job of Rs 12 Lakhs per annum are low because of down sizing in IT companies. Very low percentage of CSE students get salary above 12 Lakh per annum. Study well, money will chase you.
