No, Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences does not provide any accommodation or housing options to international students. International students are supposed to arrange for their accommodations themselves. Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences is one of the largest Universities of Applied Sciences (UAS) in Germany. Our students learn together in small groups. The university, previously named as 'Fachhochschule Darmstadt', was founded in 1971 from several precursor institutions. The roots of the present day departments of Architecture and Civil Engineering stretch as fas as back as the middle of the 19th century, to the 'Landesbaugewerkschule Darmstadt'. In 2006, the university was renamed Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences, or h_da for short.

Both German and English language proficiency is needed to study at Chemnitz University of Technology. As a proof of German language proficiency, the test certificates that are accepted are of DSH, TestDAF, etc. In the case of English language proficiency (B2 level) for English-taught programs, IELTS / TOEFL scores are accepted.
