The Germany Scholarship is given by a neutral selection committee once a year at the start of each winter semester. The scholarship is a non-income-related programme that supports high-achieving students of all nationalities. The total scholarship award is EUR 3,600 per year and thus EUR 300 per month. Half the award is paid by the federal government and private donors cover the rest.

The last date to apply at Heidelberg University for international students and domestic students including EU students will vary. The admission deadline at Heidelberg University will depend on the level of study, i.e., Bachelor’s or Master’s. However, we have provided a general admission deadline for the 2023 winter intake.
