Please refer to the brochure for complete details on admission into technical university of Munich (MS). You should be able to decide which exam you are comfortable with (GATE or GRE). GATE and GRE are two very different exams, hence comparison is difficult. Go through the syllabus and type of questions asked which should help you decide which exam to prepare for. With 6.79 CGPA it is almost impossible if you don't have a strong research profile. Since your academics are poor you have to strong in other areas such as research, project work, patent, publications, etc. The recommendation letters from your professors will be invaluable. Also you have to prepare a strong SOP.

Hi,
Since RWTH Aachen is one of the most competitive universities, you are expected to have at least 80% in your Bachelor's degree. No GRE or GMAT is required. Overall, you will require a research oriented profile. For fee and other requirements please check the university website and also the DAAD website. Typically, it is almost free and a minor semester fee is charged. You may also check here:
