Hello, chances could have been better had your grades been more than 85% in B.Tech. You may still apply but I don't think we are in a position to tell if you will get admissions. Keep in mind the numerous applications to be received by the university alongside yours. You will be shortlisted if they find your application better than the rest. Take the GATE or GRE for maximizing the chances. Also look at other options too which could be lesser competitive than Germany.

Hi Avinash,
You can check National University of Singapore, Nanyang Technological University, MIT, Caltech, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Carnegie Mellon, TU Dortmund University, TU Munich to name a few. Admissions will depend on the university and also if you want to study Bachelors or Masters. The only common factor is that you must be academically very strong.

I think, B.Tech from IITs is better because University of Berlin got 119 rank and IIT - Delhi has got 150 rank.
1. After completing B.Tech from Berlin, you will face problem related to placements because foreign universities don't allow you to sit in campus placement. If you want a job in Germany, you will have to apply for visa.
2. In IITs, there is no such problem. You will be able to sit for placement and get high package.
3. The process to apply for foreign universities is complicated it takes approximately 2 years.
4. But for IIT, you only have to qualify JEE Mains and Advanced exam.
You can go for Berlin to pursue Master's degree.
