TUM Munich usually takes 4 weeks to respond to the application. However, in some exceptional cases the application response may take more than 8 weeks as well. For better chances of admission, the university advises its students to submit respective applications with all mandatory documents as early as possible to allow enough time for document & visa processing.

Indian students can pursue TUM courses in both German and English. It is not mandatory to learn German. It is only needed for courses that are delivered in German only. To be eligible for TUM admission, a B1 or B2 level proficiency in German is enough. For courses in English, IELTS or TOEFL-iBT scores are needed.
