To get a seat at NIT Goa for BTech specialisations, candidate must attain the rank as per the category they belong to. NIT Goa JEE Main cutoff 2025 was released for the first round. As per the cutoff for the General AI category candidates, the closing ranks in round 1 varied between 11696 and 34130. Looking at the cutoff ranks, it can be said that getting admission to NIT Goa at 25000 rank is easy. Though the choice of specialisation would be limited at this rank. You can get CSE in GFTI as per the JoSSA counselling cutoff last year. You cannot get any branch, like CSE, ECE in NIT at this rank.

The BA specialisations offered at St. Xavier's College Goa are as follows:

B.A. in Mass Communication

B.A. in Journalism

B.A. in Sociology

Candidates are required to follow the merit based admission process to get a chance at securing admission to their desired programme. Candidates can choose from the specialisations while filling out the application form of the college.

Candidates wishing to get admission to the courses at St. Xavier's College Goa are required to fill out the application form and appear for the next rounds of admission to secure their seat. There is no such special provision for candidates to get direct admission. Candidates are required to get admission by following the merit based admission process.
