NIFT Gandhinagar offers scholarships to meritorious students. Currently, it offers two scholarships schemes, which are listed below:
- Udaan-NIFT Scholarship Scheme for Foreign Studies: Under this scholarship, the students are offered allowance/ financial assistance depending on the country where they seek admission in design courses.
- NIFT Sarthak: This scholarship waives 50% to 100% of the tuition fees of the students depending on their gross family income.

Candidates who want addmissions to BArch course at the Hemchandracharya North Gujarat University (HNGU) needs to fulfil the eligibility criteria. The eligibility criteria for admissions is that candidate should have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50% aggregate. The entrance exam accepted for HNGU Barch admissions is NATA.
