Himachal Pradesh University BCom admission is entirely merit-based for the academic year 2024. The admissions are based on marks obtained by candidates in the Class 12 or an equivalent examination. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board can get admission to the BCom programme.

HPU reserves some seats for SC/ ST candidates of Himachal domicile. Below is the HPU BCom seat reservation criteria:

HPU BCom placement data has not been declared by the University for the academic year 2024. However, according to the students' reviews on the Shiksha page, HPU BCom the highest package offered was INR 9 LPA to the student from the batch of 2023 and, the lowest package offered was INR 3 LPA.
