HPU admission to MBA is entrance-based. The university conducts HPU MAT is a computer-based test of two hours' duration with 200 questions. The HPU MAT exam is conducted once in a year. Below is the selection criteria for HPU MBA programme:

Candidates planning to apply for HPU MBA programme must complete their graduation. Below is the detailed eligibility for Himachal Pradesh University MBA course:
- Candidates who have passed bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST candidates) can apply for MBA .
- Candidates appearing for their final year exam of bachelor's degree can also appear in HPU MAT, but the final selection is subject to satisfying the eligibility condition.

The total tuition fee for HPU MBA ranges between INR 4,800 and INR 1.4 lakh. This information is sourced from official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. There is slight relaxation in fee for students already registered with HP University. Once the candidates are selected, they need to pay a programme fee to confirm their seat in the university. Apart from the tuition fee, aspirants also need to pay an application fee of INR 700 for HPU MAT.

The eligibility criteria for admission to B.Tech programme at JUIT Solan is as follows:
1. Passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (55% for SC/ST candidates).
2. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the mark sheets by the specified date.
3. Candidates who have cleared the Diploma (Engineering & Technology) examination with at least 60% marks (55% for SC/ST candidates) are also eligible to apply.

Rayat-Bahra University placements year wise trends -
In the Placements 2020, the no. of 21 UG (3 years programme students) & 165 UG ( 4 years program) were placed. In the Placements 2019, a total of 29 UG (3 years programme students) & 115 UG ( 4 years program) were placed. Yes, Indo group of colleges offer better placement than Rayat bahra university. indo global group of colleges seems to have a slightly higher average CTC ( around 3.50 LPA) compared to rayat - Bahra University. IGGC also have great collaboration with renowned companies like Infosys, Wipro, simplex, IBM, and HDFC bank .but Rayat Bahra University known for strong placements for particular fields like engineering, mainly with companies like Flipkart, Amazon, Microsoft.

Central university of himachal Pradesh is a public university but government college dharamshla is government . But both are good, but in comparison you will be more benefited with government college it has low fees and good placements nice campus well developed library .you must choose college according to your need .
